OPEN CALL FOR GREATER VALLEY ARTISTS

Foreland Greater Valley Artist is an exhibition opportunity for artists based in Greene & Columbia counties accepts applications on a rolling basis. This unique revolving exhibition series is located within Foreland’s studio arts campus in Catskill, New York. It is free and open to the public, and will continue to highlight the extraordinary population of artists in our beloved region. Artists featured in previous iterations of the Greater Valley Artist showcase include Susan Meyer, Carter Hodgkin, Jackie Fischer and Anne Fischer.

The Greater Valley Artist series is open to artists working in painting, drawing, photography and wall based sculptural relief presentations. There are no fees to apply or participate, and the selected artists are provided a three-month exhibition.

Artists of all ages, backgrounds, identities who live or work in Greene or Columbia County are encouraged to apply year round with proposals for future exhibition cycles.

HOW TO APPLY:

Submissions will be reviewed and selected by Foreland’s Director of Programming, Jesse Greenberg.
